Many forest and wildlife resource objectives and decisions, in some part, relate to timber management. Proper short and long-term management is key in making these decisions and realizing a property's objectives. Timberland is an excellent investment with characteristics of long-term growth and stable price points while maintaining relatively low risk.
Northeast Land Management, LLC works with landowners to develop long-term sustainable timberland goals through a process of stand and forest level modeling to optimize resource allocation. Prediction is
never perfect, but having an idea of how the stand or forest may look like in 50 years provides a significant advantage for a timber investor, business, or private landowner. We also provide forest valuation using on-site statistically based inventories, economic timber modeling, timber sale development and administration, and timber erosion and sediment control plans. Timber is a valuable resosurce, providing for its future is not only the right thing to do but the smart thing to do.
